Sunroof question

So Saturday night my wife and I are awakened by a loud boom....I go to the garage to see if one of my overhead storage racks fell, but they were all up. I walk to the other side of the benz and see our huge baby gate had fallen onto the roof and over the side...2 dents on the roof. They are between the sunroof and rear window. One is about 2 inches long and the other about an inch..neither broke the paint.

So my question is, I went to a paintless dent removal guy who said he could get them out 98% if the sunroof is on rails under the headliner. He said if it sits in a tray under the headliner, then he wouldn't be able to access the dents for removal.

So....anyone know if it is on rails or in a tray?

Thank and will hopefully post before and after pictures tomorrow!!!
