He got a question for you, does you shifter have the AMG Emblem on it or it is the regular one that says "Engine Start/Stop"?

Thanks

I just picked up a IWC edition myself. I wonder how many made it to the states. I think 6 were sent to Austrialia, probably a handful to asia and who knows how many in Europe. Can we find the allocation numbers?

Saw this one on ebay with the 19" double spoke rims and large front brakes. Is this an example of a cls55 with the 030 package?

Please delete post if ebay listings are not allowed.

BTW, is this the alacantra steering wheel?

How can we figure out exactly how many cars were allocated to certain countries? I am going to try and send mercedes an email to see if they can shed some light.

It is not an IWC CLS. This car only has an alcantara steering wheel from IWC CLS.

No spare tire, no molded space for it either. Just a pump and a can of gump.

It makes sense to delete the spare on a LSD rear end. Think about the wear on the clutch from different diameter rear tires.

Talking about a 55 not a 63. My Vin # and sticker indicate a true 030 car with all the other stuff, composite brakes, (y) rated tires, Alcantara steering wheel, LSD rear end. High speed limiter not yet tested at 186 mph. No spare tire and a re config molded trunk floor with no spare at all.

Cool IWC CLS55 AMG For Sale in Baltimore, MD

First - I apologize. I am new to the site and do not appear to have permissions to start a new thread.

Second - It appears a used car dealership in Baltimore, MD picked up a 2 owner IWC CLS 55AMG with 36k miles at a car auction 2 weeks ago ....

Listed for sale on Edmunds and also here:

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...er_id=45503798

Anybody have any info thoughts/info on this particular car? Not so much regarding price, but more how a car this rare ends up at a "sideline" dealership. I am totally familiar with the IWC ... just wish it were at a slightly more reputable dealer where I could add an extended warranty, etc.

I know it is a stab in the dark, but thought I would ask given there are so few of these gems in existence.

Thanks Very Much - SDJ

That was my exact thoughts when I was contemplating my CLS IWC purchase. My car was listed as "Rare" although not till right before my purchase did I find out that there were only 55 produced worldwide.

As you can see form previous post, I'm still trying to figure out how many of these car actually made it to the US. It is hard data to come by.

As for the extended warrant, Chrysler offers an extended warranty that will take care the car. Do some searches, there is a lot of info on that warranty.

When I was shopping for my 55 in 06-07 saw a brand new IWC at FJ in Newport Beach. Blew the socks off of me. If I remember it was about $125k MSRP. I believe that the one here has all the IWC custom stuff, titatium interior door levers, IWC logo gauges, etc. Did not see the titatium finish exhaust tips or the 2 piece 030 wheels with titatium finish. I guess the IWC watch is not part of the deal ($6k).

I see you are in CC. PM me I work in CC. Is there room for 2 CLS AMGs in CC?
