Uneven exhaust tips

I was looking around my friends car and noticed that the exhaust tips are a little uneven, just by like 5mm. Is this normal? Also i noticed that the exhaust tips seems to "grow" after the car is warmed up. Is this normal? Just wondering. Anyone else have the same issue with uneven tips?

Can't comment on how even they are since I had the tips slightly tucked in after the exhaust work. Got sick of people asking if it's an AMG.

The exhaust definitely grows after getting warmed up. After a very hard drive the tips stick out a good 1/3 inch.

For the mis-aligned tips: Check the muffler mounts. If they came loose (not sure how common this is on the CLS) it could cause the exhaust to hang crooked.

Since I got mine customized the entire exhaust is Stainless Steel and it expands a lot more when hot. My tips come out a good half inch.

All of them
its a simple fix but you have to have to rack the car to do it. one you have it on the rack. you loosen the exhaust after the cats, then it has the ability to adjust the tailpipes to where it needs to be. so go to the back and make them even. then when they are where they need to be. tighten it back up
