How can you tell when the S/C clutch is slipping?

How can you tell when the S/C clutch is slipping? I have 43K on my CLS it just doesn't seem to have the punch every time I step on it some times it does some times it doesn't.

you probably have cooling issues, replace your intercooler pump or have your cooling system checked. S/C will bypass when your motor is heat soaked.

You probably don't need to replace it, just have it serviced.
Your S/C Intercooler is air to water, have that checked and the pump checked. Then have your main cooling system checked.
People replace that pump with a Johnson pump which is supposed to have more flow. I'm running a stock pump with no issues, but then again my 55 is stock. Evosport makes a secondary cooling system, but its not cheap and there is a big debate whether additional heat exchangers really effect intake temps.

Just have your stock system looked at, thats where you should start. Heatsoak = bypassed supercharger.
