Brabus rocket grill

I just got my new rocket grill in. I tried removing the stock one but only got to the point of just removing the 3 bolts on top of the grill. There are 3 clips on the bottom of the grill that I cant get off. What's the best way of uncliping those clips? Anyone know?

Look at the bottom of your new grill. There are three tabs. One in the center behind the star and one on either side. If you look down though the top of the grill area you can see all three tabs easily where they push in and clip into the top of the bumper.
Take a large flat head screw driver and cover the end in some tape. That;s so you don't srcatch the tabs even though you can't see them from the front. Carefully push down on the exposed part of the tab of the stock grill with the screwdriver and at the same time push in (towards the motor) on the front of the stock grill where that tab is. You have to actually push the bottom of the grill towards the radiator to clear the tab on the top of the bumper where it clicks in. You use the screwdriver to push down so that it will oush back and out of the tab on the bumper. Once you get one tab clear and start to work on the next one, the one that you just unclicked will click back in so you have to work them together. Just be careful and dont force it. It will come out easy if you take your time.

The second part of the install is sell me your grill when you are done!

Dude, I don't know why you're having so much trouble. I had my OEM front grill off in a matter of minutes, in the dark nonetheless...

Did you get it off? Do you want me to take some pics of where the clips are and what they look like on the OEM grill?

Is it possibly an issue with the new grill? Maybe a defect, won't line up? I've seen that happen with aftermarket grills on other cars...

I don't think that the grill is defective. I just think I wasn't trying hard enough to put it on. Plus I have no clue on really how to put it on the right way. Il give it a shot tomorrow. I'm just afraid of breaking the cf when I try and push in the grill lol.

lol!~!

If the tabs on the bottom of the grill line up you should be ok. I would compare the tabs on the stock grill with the tabs on the cf grill. If the tabs on the CF grill are a little fatter you can take some 100 grit sand paper or your girlfriends emry board to the tabs a little to sand them down so that they fit through the inserts on the top of the bumper. Just don't force it and take your time. The tabs on the bottom of the grill will snap before the bumper tabs break.
