Black stock rims?
My chrome replicas kept cracking... I'm guessing because they're replica rims and not factory. I threatened CarMax with a lawsuit, was about to retain a lawyer and they just called me and told me all four rims are being replaced with factory hyper silver AMG rims. From Mercedes. For free. MB is putting them on the car tomorrow and I was wondering what my black CLS would look like with black factory rims. I'm thinking about powdercoating/painting them....

Hi, I don't know this is a good suggestion for you. But in case if you can't do it by yourself (like Searcy 1321...He did a good job). Let try to check this

I'm new here and I joined because of this thread. I have black '55 with black stock rims.

U mean chrome trims around the windows? They aren't painted, I took the car to a specialist who tinted them with 3M-tape. Also the chrome list in the back and the Mercedes logo in the front mask are taped.
Black front windows are here in Finland highly forbidden. (And as you see, that wall is white in the back..)
Rims were painted by friend of mine, around 200€.
I'm gonna post good pics as soon as the car is ready.
