Questions about the CLS 55 AMG. HELP asked please
Hi,
I'm from Belgium and new at this forum. I had some questions about the CLS 55 for the guys who own or owned it.
I am a proud owner of a bmw M5 E39 and I love my car very much since I never had a problem with it. I bought the car when it was 1years old and even if the car had warranty, it never made me going crazy by causing problems. So it really doesnt matter it has warranty or not, I simply dont want a car who brings problems with it.
Now my M5 is going out of date slowly (however I realy think its still one of the most beautifull sedans) so I want to sell it for getting a new car.
And I'm really (REALLY) impressed with the looks of the Mercedes CLS55.
It always makes me look back when I see it. Its really a beauty.
Now my question to the guys outthere who really KNOWS the CLS55,
Is it a car that repeatedly should go to service for causing problems, or is it a car well made and can be driven without any problems and head pain.
Are there common problems who exists by every CLS55...
Can you guys tell me about it please,
THX

06 CLS55 w/ P030, 05 Jag S Type R, 05 TBird-68 Dodge Charger R/T-440 w/4speed I'm original owner
I bought my cls 55 new and no real problems to date. I had some minor issues that were repaired quickly concerning the dynamic seats and sirus radio. No engine or power train nor electronic issues with the suspension or engine. A real tough built car.
Make sure you buy it with the remaining warranty or obtain a 3rd party warranty just in case of repairs. The powertrain, supercharger, airmatic suspension and electronics are very expensive to repair.
Good Luck.
