So this morning the ESP MALFUNCTION came on dash and lost alot of power. I pulled over and opened hood. The supercharger belt was loose and saw a missing pulley laying at the bottom of the spash shield way at the bottom??? WTF?
It seems like it just broke off? Never had a proble with it before or noise? Anyway, is it dangerous to even drive the car this way for 2days more till i get the part? What exactly is this part anyhow? What does it do?

looks like its one of the idler pulleys.
