2011 CLS AMG 11 second car???

2010 E550 COUPE
2011 CLS AMG 11 second car???
Well me and my brother went to the track the other week and he owns a S600 2009 500hp. Ran a 12.6@ 114 it was 80+ degress outside.
So now the new 2011 CLS63 which is mabye almost 1,000 pounds less,
60hp increase and the new 7 speed MCT, Should mabye be a high 11 second car. say 11.8@119-121mph and the 430hp CLS with 500TQ
will probaly run high 12s@111-113mph because of this crazy torque.
My E550C ran 13.00@108mph with only 380hp 390tq.
Wat do u guys think this CLS63 will do in the 1/4 mile?

I had worn out tires on E63 2007 and ran 12.7 that was on worn out streets too! stock everything.
i hope the CLS can push maybe like low 12's. I don't know about any faster, unless they come with the new twin turbo set up.

Rumours of 600+hp and probably matching torques should mean it will have the power to run 11's without question. It all comes down to grip. A stock SL65 runs 11's with traction all day..

Well sure a SL65 runs 11s its heavy car but 600hp 700tq and 200k it better lol!!
I just think its amazing and so affordible that we can purchase a luxury sedan with super car performance that will probaly run high 11s for under 100k lol. when renntech gets their hands on this it will be into the 10s lol.
650-700hp super sedans that are total sleepers. Think about it the E63 and c63 with 465TQ trap 115mph! and run 12.3-11.9 now imagine
200TQ+ 60HP+MCT= Supercar lol

um have you seen what a modded E/CLS 55k runs ....you might be surprised...go see drag times then come back
or better yet search the w211 AMG forms better
I do know wat times they run, i owned a SL55 that ran 12.7@113 for 4600 pounds with a slugish 5 speed that aint bad.
The new amgs are going to be a difrent story though, shorter gears,
better aerodynamics. and twin turbo which makes more power then superchargers usually. Its easy to get a 600hp E55 to run low 11s@125mph.
But its hard to push 700hp out of them and get them into the 10s.
C63 turbo 650whp= ZR1 killer
