Fog Light Catastrophe
Drove home from the airport too late the other night through thick fog after a full day of travel delays. Must have been tired enough that I left the fog lights on till the battery died. After jumping the car and getting everything back to "normal" I thought I was clear. Then I approached the car from the front to find that both fog lights had literally boiled themselves. The glass bubbled and turned black.
Anyone had a similar experience? Should this really happen (even after stupid user error)? Anyone know the part number so I can replace these?

I purchased a pair from here:

The part number is 230-820-05-56
They are made by Hella, which was the OEM supplier.
The install was very easy and took less than 20 minutes for each side.
