Modifying cls55 bumper

Hi guys....... My mate just brought a 2009 c63 amg, I've gota say that I love the shark like fins on the front bumper. It's got me thinking about how difficult it would be to mod our 55 amg bumpers to have similar fins on each side of the bumper, does any 1 know if someone has attempted this? Or where I could buy some fins that could be moulded into our bumpers.

Bring it to a reputable body shop and tell them you want this done.

so, you may want original add-on parts like this below (that you can find in SL, SLK and C)

I also was considering that thing but concluded that they simply do not match with the rounded style of our CLS ... as you can see by yourself from the previous post.

personally, I only liked the work done by Vorbild in the first picture above

just imho

btw, if you like them, you can also find those add-ons as aftermarket ..

i agree Dyno... looking at the 2nd pic kinda puts me off (dont mean any dis respect but its not the look that im after) there is a big difference between that vent and the original you pictured. Im sure that if the shark gills are the length of Vorbild's and depth of the original you pictured - you would pull off a sick look

Think i will get someone to photoshop some diiferent deisgns and dimensions and see what looks best...

ive seen a c63 front bumper at a scrap yard with loads of damage however the area that im intrested in is clean but looks like that im gona have to get a custom job done rather than just cuting some existing fins from an amg bumper and adding them to my bumper

thanks for input guys.. any other ideas would be helpful
