First time posting ran at gateway Int. last night and ran a 12.37 need tips on getting quicker. 06 CLS 55 with supersprinter long tube headers, rentech ecu and overdive pully and brabus intercooler. I bought the car this way back in Feb 09 car runs good stock wheels and tires and lowering kit. The above time was with trac/con on sport setting on trans in D. Any help would be appreicated

 

Suspension in comfort, raise car. Trans in sport in 1st. Toe in throttle on the last light then mash it once you are rolling. With proper track prep should be good for at least 1.8's on a street tire. I was pulling as low as 1.76 60's on 285 section Falken 452's. I was able to out launch most awd cars last time out. Have fun!

 

what was the ambient temp?

 

It was around 90 but the lines were long and there was a lot of idle time
