Hello buddies,

I just acquired a CLS 55 AMG from 2005, living in Europe (France) and already have troubles with the automatic open/close trunk feature...

It used to work fine for a few days and for any reason I totally ignore, now it just opens a bit (not fully) with the door panel button, but does not close with the trunk button.
I can hear the system noise when pushing the trunk button but no automatic closure...

The only thing I can remember is when the guy was putting in place the new plates last friday, he kept the trunk from opening entirely (till the top) to be able to place the plates and fix it...

Maybe this is what cause the issue...

I've been told it may require a trunk reset from MB...
So if this is the solution, I will go soon to a MB dealer for the B inspection/maintenance... I'm already at 2500 kms from the B inspection on the board computer...

Please let me know if this is a known issue and if there is another way to do it by myself.
I already tried to enable/disable the limitation opening trunk feature without any success....
