First post here. Im from Scotland UK and currently drive an M3 CSL, we also have an E60 M5 and an E90 320d in the household.

Today I had my first run in a CLS55 AMG, lovely car, very smooth, comfy seats and plenty of go. Only thing I was disappointewd with was I couldnt hear that beautiful v8 - its soooo quiet! Got to start up a C63 AMG and it sounds amazing, just what I wanted out of the CLS.

So... Im wondering what solutions / options there is to make it sound like the C63 (I know its a diff engine but Im meaning volume) or even better, I want it to be like 'holy ****, what is that pulling away'. Like this...

Also, being a newbie to MB - am I right in saying that there is air susp on the CLS AMG and theres a module that can be bought to adjust ride height as and when you please... Dont want to be always low / bumpy as the CSL I have is on the floor and its a pain for speed bumps.

You can get close to that sound with a primary cat delete and a resonator delete. then find come headers that fit RHD. Leave the mufflers alone, they are IMO the best sounding AMG 55 mufflers.

Just do a little reading. I don't know the the Renntech V3 ELM is truly plug and play. I know the Carlsson is.

Brabus makes an ELM for the airmatic suspension as well.

Some guys use links to lower the car. Some use the washer method. \\\

Just use the search feature here on this board and you will find a couple of days worth of reading on the subject.
