ProgRama ELM
Hey Guys,
Looking to pick up an ELM and found this online by ProgRama for $950.

It looks to be the same one as the Renntech v.2 without the badging. Can anyone confirm this? Sounds like a great bargain.

Roverron,
So you have one of these but you bought it elsewhere? How do you like its functionality and did you get yours for $950 as well?

It does what it supposed to I haven't had or worked with any others to compare it too. It was easy for me to install I have worked with car electronics for year so my install was about a half an hour read the instructions about 4 times then went to work. I paid about 1K with shipping. Not sure how the others work the only thing I had to figure out was that to raise the car I had to use the lift button then use the remote to settle it down where I wanted it. I guess I could have tried to raise in the remote. Once I figured that out all is fine everything else works good.

Roverron thanks for the tips!
Just to clarify your last post: When you want to raise the car to the highest setting you press the lift button and have to use the remote too? Or do you only need the remote for initial setting of highest lift point?

No you dont have to use the remote. Just the button in the car near the shifter. Thats when the car is at a stand still and you want a fast lift to readjust the hight.

I have the same one. RENNTECH never made this part, they just bought them from these companies and sold them as renntech. I learned the hard way by buying the RENNTECH one for 1600 the first time then holeyboy showed me this one for my CLS. I called RENNTECH and they said, yes, we have them made for our company.

I'm always up late and up early. Sometimes catching me late at night is the best way as I've answered most of the PM's by midnight. So anytime you see me on late at night, I'm just surfing MBW.
In any event, the offer still stands on the V2 ELM. I can price match and we have them instock. Also if you guy haven't seen the M1 ELM, Its awesome and buy far the slickest ELM for mercedes. Also for the people in the Chicago, San Diego, NY and AZ area Speedriven, ACG (both locations) and Dyno-Comp can all install these ELM's. They can also get you any ELM you want for your car.

Are there any options for a 2009 model year?

This is a great deal because they're including the remote with the ELM. I bought mine as a Renntech branded product (their "version 2 ELM) and got to pay way more than this. There's a DIY install write-up on the E55 board DIY sticky link.
Mine has worked flawlessly since I installed it a few years ago, and the remote control unit is what makes this great. Nothing like on the fly height adjustments.
