Tinted window question. Need Help!

Hi Guys,
I just heard that its a real P.I.A. to tint the windows on a CLS.

Someone told me that the "rear deck" which is the cover that goes between the back windshield and the back seats needs to be removed or you cant get in there to tint the rear window. I also heard its like $800 in labor at a dealer to take it off and put it back on.

Alomst every CLS I see on here has tinted windows and I find it hard to believe all of you guys had to remove the rear deck cover and spent $800 to do it. Can anyone shed light on this for me.
Thanks

I had my CLS tinted, and from what I recall (since they did it right in front of me) the rear deck was not removed, nor was it anymore of a P.I.A. then any other car as equivalent size and nature...

Thanks for the feed back.
So they got to the bottom of the rear window just fine?

Anyone else have a different experience?

Your source sounds bogus to me.
Call up a few shops in your area and get some quotes. Im sure they've seen and tinted plenty of CLSs

Yeah my deck wasn't removed when I got tints neither was the cost that much. Just a regular ol' tint.
