Chrome door inserts - how do they look?
Does anyone have pictures of a black CLS with the chrome door inserts?
I'm searched quite a while but have not been able to find some pics.
How do those things look like 'in person'? Are they worth it?

In case it's not clear what I'm talking about, here's a pic from one of the sponsors that sells them.

I personally think they are too much. I did the chrome accents on my E55 when I first got it back in 2004...headlight trim rings, rear taillight trim rings, door handles, etc...
Ended up looking like I was trying too hard...keep it simple in the sense that too much chrome can be too busy.
Just my .02.

Chrome door
It looks kind of cheap , reminds of when people do the chrome strips on the center bye pillars to make a car look like the old XJ's and Rolls . It a old folks kind of thing like fake convertible tops and landau roofs on new style cars that weren't made for it like 70's and 80's cars were. Your right to much even the chrome around the CLS head lights look cheap , you might be able to get away with the rear light trim . I wouldn't do any of it just lower the bad "BABY" down wide tires the mean machine .. Look .. Badm
