CLS55 AMG Question

I just joined this forum and would like some input on the cls55 amg. I am currently looking for an 06-07 so I have been doing some research on the overall maintenance of this vehicle. I found this site (see link) and it lists alot of issue with this car. My question is, are these issues something you all go through? Is this what I can expect? I have always wanted one and now that I'm able, I want to know everthing thats expected. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

No,...not yet, but very soon. I'm just trying to get clarification on the maintenance of the AMGs based on this web site.

2006 CLS55 AMG
I got a 06 CLS55 AMG earlier this year..great car...very fast and smooth....one word of caution - be sure to have the Airmatic suspension checked - especially the rear - before you buy...I did, turns out there was slow leak(s) in both struts, and the dealer replaced at no charge ( this is a $5,000 repair)...other than that no problems at all...for peace of mind i did get extended 4 yr warranty...good luck with your purchase

Thanks,...I will definitely be very selective when choosing one. I will also add an extended warranty. I have always wanted one of these!!

So your name is 06merc, your signature says you drive a CLS550, you are looking for a CLS55, which by the way they did not even make in 2007? You do know there is a huge difference between a CLS550(which you supposedly drive) and a CLS55 which (you supposedly are looking for)

Just clarify things,.. I do not drive either model "yet". I used the description so that I could post for info on the cls55 that I "will" be purchasing. I know the difference of the two models and each year they were made. You are not the only person who can afford one of these cars so if you just keep your sarcastic comments to yourself, that would be great. I'm not trying to offend anyone on this forum, but I don't appreciate what you are implying. Basically, I found out what I needed to know. Thank you to the people who replied.
