Official AMG Get Together Laguna Seca
In case you have not seen this, the AMG Private Lounge is planning a get together at Laguna Seca Raceway on Saturday, September 24, 2011.
Looks like a good group has already shown some interest!
Here are the initial details:
Save the Date! AMG Private Lounge Member Get-together at Laguna Seca!
We are in the final stages of planning a get-together for AMG Private Lounge members on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Laguna Seca Raceway. As the US AMG Driving Academy will be using the track on this day, members will have a chance to see a variety of AMG vehicles running hot laps.
The focus on this event will be a gathering where AMG Private Lounge members can meet up with each other and share time around the AMG brand.
Many of the latest AMG models will be on display and we are sure that you will enjoy a few surprises as well.
Full details will be released over the next couple of weeks.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
I'd love to join up with the group, but I am not a private lounge member.
Also, that date, September 24, does not show that it's available for registration.
Perhaps all available positions have already been taken.

This is not for the Private Lounge AMG Driving Academy event that will be going on September 24th. That event is full.
This is an additional event also at Laguna Seca on the same day where AMG has invited AMG owners to get together for a meet and greet type event. No cost to attend but no track time either.
If you are not a member of the PL signing up is free, all you need is your VIN.

Oh, I see.
I'm actually working on getting the Basic training academy for some track time in the different vehicles. Admittedly, we probably won't get a chance to drive the SLS, but if they let us, they'll have to pry my hands off the wheel.
