'09 cls63 sa codes and 030 performance package
Been in the market for a cls63 for some time and have been researching the '07 to '09 models. When looking at a dealer or private sellers listing it can be difficult, aside from physical attributes, to determine if a vehicle has the options/packages stated (or not stated). The obvious route has been to decode the vin and use the sa codes on the data card to verify the options.
Option packages available for the '09 model are:
1. Premium 1 Pkg (P01)
2. AMG Performance Package (030)
3. Distronic Cruise Control (219)
4. Parktronic (220)
5. Carbon Fiber Interior Trim (H73)
219, 220, and H73 appear to be true sa codes listed on a vehicles data card. The problem is the Premium 1 package and the AMG Performance Package are not listed on the data card as a package but instead each individual option included in the package has it's own sa code. Once you have identified one option on the data card that you know is included in one of those two packages then you can verify that the car has all the other options included in that package as well.
Here is what I have so far for sa codes options on the vin decoded data card that would indicate the Premium 1 Pkg (P01)
881 Remote Trunk Locking (Pwr Trunk Closer)
615 Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps w/ active curve illumination
889 Keyless-Go
540 Roller Blind, Electric, for Rear Window(Power Rear Window Sunshade)
919 Aircon Cooling Power Package (active ventilated seats w/heat feature)
600 Headlamp-Cleaning Equipment (headlamp washers)
What isn't clear are the sa codes on the data card that would indicate that the car indeed has the 030 AmG performance package.
Does anyone know what they would be?
Other questions:
Saw one '09 listing that claimed the car also included the massage feature built into the seats. It's my understanding this was an option included with the '07 and '08 models with the active ventilated seats but not part of that option on the '09. Is that correct??
The '07 and '08 models had a premium 1 and premium 2 option package but the '09 only has a premium 1 package? (near as I can tell premium 1 options on the '07 and '08 became standard options on the '09 and the premium 2 package on '07 '08 models became the premium 1 option on the '09)
Sorry for the detailed post and questions but I hate when I'm looking at a car and a salesman tells me a car has certain options that I can't verify from the sellers pics. Especially when I'm potentially flying a thousand miles to pick up a car that might be falsely advertised. Finding info on this was much harder than I expected compared to other manufactures. Is this info a closely guarded MB secret? LoL
Appreciate any help you guys/gals can give.
