CLS63 + DPE
hello,
purchased the car back in January, love every bit of the car. really like the fact that this car can be a beast at full throttle and a luxorious one while cruising. it took me a while to find a this unique color. i had an E46 M3, so sometimes i miss the raw-ness of the M, but of course, these two cars should be compared.
I am very happy with my choice of going with DPE wheels instead of other competing concave wheels. Jojo and Sean from DPE were very responsive to my questions and informative about fitment concerns. i had some slight problem during installation, but Sean/Jojo checked up on the status via email right after to make sure the installation is successful. i purchased SSR, Work, HRE wheels for my previous cars before, but i have to say that the styling of the DPE wheels is very original. i addressed to Jojo from DPE that their marketing effort falls short compare to others, so i hope they can improve on this problem to earn the recognition they truly deserve.
i am also happy with the drop on the car. when i dropped the car to top of tire, it looked so bad *** with the wheels! But.....the days of going diagonally up a driveway or dodging pot holes are over, and i did not spend this much on purchasing the CLS to give myself more stress when driving the car. although we still have an option to raise the car via airmatic, it is just another piece of stress i do not want to think about. mild drop is fine with me...
i do have a slight interest in trading in the car for something else, will post a for sale ad when ready.

You must not have read the OP's comments that he is happy with a mild drop because it's less stress when driving.
I completely agree with him. People tell me all the time to drop my car more and I ignore them. I enjoy driving, not dodging everything on the road.
I think it look s fine as is, plus he can enjoy driving it more without it being slammed.
The wheels look amazing. Good selection.
Nice color on the car as well.
