Need advice for 2007 CLS 63 AMG Purchase

Hi all, am new here and looking for some German cars expertise.

I always wanted to own a mercedes-benz but could never afford it.
It's too expensive in the middle east.

Long story short, I found a very good tempting offer which is a 2007 CLS 63 AMG for a really cheap price (around $16k) and low mileage (60,000 km). The car is really clean from inside and outside.

Once I saw the car, I fell in love instantly, went home to do some research about it and guess what, yes, I found about the AMG lawsuit and their M156 engine problems. Made me depressed all day long.

After a lot of reading, I know the car has some electrical issues which I might be able to afford to fix. However, 16k is too much for me to throw at something that might break down in 1 or 2 years.

The question is: Should I buy it or should I wait to see what comes out of the law suit?

If I wait the car might be gone.

PS: Some of the cars I remember seeing at the owner's garage:
Mercedes S class
Maserati
BMW
4 doors Porsche
and more

PPS: Owner wants to sell the CLS coz in his exact words, and I quote: "It's old now and I'm look for a new car".
