2009 cls63 winter rims and tires?

So i am new to the club and also mb. I just bought a used 2009'cls 63 and it had the original 19 inch summer rims and tires. So i got what i think is original cls55 18 inch rims and put 245/40 winter tires on this. What worries me is that it seems like the front tires are wider than the wheel arches and "sprays" the doors / sides with dirt etc. I never looked how the 19 inch summers looked like,...

Someone that can chime in. Will i have a re-paint coming up in the summer...?

Aren't the original fronts 255s? If so, your 245s are not wider as the measurement is taken at the tire's widest point. You may have some more dirt being thrown due to a more aggressive tread.

The original summer tires i got was 255 front. Though 19".... I thought it might have been some different ET or something that the tire sticks out more... If i check clearance between rim and brake caliper there is a lot. Like 1 inch or something...
