Thought I would jump on here and say that Frenchy is the man! I live in CA and had the modules within 6 days of paying for them. Got them all plugged in and they work flawlessly! I've wanted to run these lights since the first time I saw them on a 2009 CLS so I can't thank Frenchy enough for getting these done!

For all that may be interested - I found a pair of LED OEM tail lights new for $528 shipped on Partsgeek.com. That includes an online coupon (code: SAVE15) w/ them that saves an additional 15 dollars. Cheapest I've found - Happy clicking!

Hello,
Is it correct that i need to buy new tail light also on my cls 2005.
i was under the impression that just the box device was needed and than you have 2009 years facelift.
there are many cls owners who want to have this.

Frenchy's modules are needed to adapt the newer 09-11 model LED style tail lights to the 05-08 model with regular tail lights (filament lightbulbs).

Modules arrived yesterday for me. THEY LOOK AWESOME! Construction seems very solid and was very impressed with the quality. Unfortunately PartsGeek.com sent me one 2008 tail light and one 2009 tail light. Freakin' kidding me!? So I'm in a holding pattern for another week and a half. Freakin partsgeek. I guess that's why they are the cheapest.
