Accident - Need Body Shop suggestion in the Bay Area

Bad news, guys. I sideswiped my 2012 CLS63 turning into my residence. Rear quarter door, wheel and fender needs to be replaced. Some damage to the frame as well. Insurance is going to cover it so I hope someone can suggest the best body shop possible for repairs. I am located near the Bay Area. Much appreciated! Hope I will be on the road soon!

Sorry to hear that. I know how you felt. A lot of west coast guys on this board and I'm sure some will direct you to a good place.

Go to Pan American Collision Center. The Merc dealers use them. 555 Burke St, San Jose, CA 95112. Almost all they do is Mercedes and the work is outstanding. Ask for Georgiana. 408-289-8745

Thank you all for the kind words and ecm for the suggestion. I will definitely give PACC a look.

Here are some pictures of the damage. Do you guys think the car can be both cosmetically and functionally restored back to its original state (as in....one can't tell if its been in an accident if i don't disclose the fact to that person)? I just had it for around 1K miles......

To the naked eye? Sure. But, if someone checks the panels with a paint meter (prospective buyer down the road, for example), they'll know it's been painted. No body shops can perfectly replicate factory robot-applied original paint. My $0.02.

It'll be fine if the right shop does it. Also, since the paint is new it'll be easier to match. And light colors like yours are easier to blend in.

They just finished my C63 and did a great job! I also saw a wide body sl550 with custom matte black paint which looks so cool!

To the average person, probably not. To someone like me, I would find it. Mind you since this is being claimed through insurance it will now show up on your carfax anyways.

Definitely keep these pix for reference in case you want to sell the car so you can show the damage was not insane.
