Its 100 degrees here and my A/C is hot! Help! I took it to a A/C shop and they said they wouldnt touch it because it needs to be scanned. This is a friends car, I'm trying to buy it. I own a body shop in town and have an ASE certified mechanic. He thinks it's something stupid and easy. Any suggestions?

Check your A/C hoes may need replacement also freon may need to be recharged

I'll try it. No one has had issues with their AC?

You need to have someone with the star diagnostic program reset the AC light, and have the freon recharged. (you wont be able to recharge without the reset) Blinking light indicates there is no freon in the system. You might have a leak somewhere in the radiator or hoses.

Scan the codes... I bet it's that switch over valve

Fixed it! Cleared codes and evac'd n recharged A/C. Boom... $135.00 fix
