Well, the second one has low miles. And If it were me. Id go after the low mileage one. Both of them look exceptionally clean and well kept. Other than that IDK what else to tell you. The white one looks gorgeous though.

If you find a white CLS55 for a good price, jump on it ASAP. I can't stress how rare a white CLS55 is. Of course it's because they only made a supercharged 219 (55K motor) for one year and then switched to the all motor (CLS63) version, but still nonetheless a white CLS55 is pretty hard to come by. Congrats with whichever direction you go!

I personally would start off low for the fact that IF problems do occur, that they happen later than sooner.... not a whole lot of people have taken their CLS's up to the top of the mileage list (60/70k+) so you dont know what may go wrong with these cars.
The white although is a beautiful color and car... Id recommend getting the silver for the mileage.
OTHERWISE, it is your money and choice. Good Luck

Well I bought my CLS with 75k with 100k warranty for $25,700. No problems yet besides small stuff like the window regulator. I saw someone selling same car with 50k miles for $38k. I would take saving $13,000 over 40k more in mileage and with warranty.
What are you guys talking about? 40k miles alot!?! Its a 6 year old car, so that ends up being less than 7k miles per year. 50% less than average. These cars are solid, and look at the e55 forum. There are plenty of people at 100k+ mies... Ive got almost 70k miles, and it runs stronger and better than ever. Buy which ever one that has the better options, price, and condition. Don't worry about the mileage
im driving 8 hours to check the white one out this week .thats the one i like. thanks guys for the info because i was wondering about the miles .. i will be getting a warranty with this car its a benz an the car is just going to be a weekend car not a daily driver ..i like the silver one too but they asking more than the retail value .. do all cls55 come with cd changer ,bi xenon headlights an logic7 surround sound..

I would go with the low mileage. But, check them both out. You need to know:
1. New brake pads & rotors?
2. Serviced?--White CLS requires tranny service at 39K mi
3. New tires (balance & align)
4. New Air and Cabin Filters (2 sets)
5. New Gas filter (White CLS)
6. Dont trust car fax. Check metal body with magnet for bondo .
7. Check underside on lift for body damage, leaks, etc.
8. Check condition of both batteries (trunk & engine compartment)
9. Drive Test-for noise and suspension tightness.
10. Fluids:
Brake fluid requires changing every 2 years
Coolant
Power Steering
Get an 'Exclusionary Extended Warranty-Bumper to Bumper' 4yrs/100K mi. Fidelity and Easy Care are the leading choices for the AMGs. Not cheap, but will save money in the long run.
