w219 6.2 Injector leak!?
Has anyone ever heard of/seen a leaky injector on the n/a 63 motor?
A friend of mine recently installed a new airbox for me and snapped a few pictures of what he found. It definitely appears to be a leaky injector. I'll get it warrantied when I get back to town but wanted to give the other 6.2L owners a heads up.
This was only visible once the airbox was removed. My car has never shown any weird signs/symptoms of anything wrong with the fuel system. It's never smelled like gas and I had no reason to suspect anything was amiss.
