First Impressions
Hi All,
After a long search and hours of research I have bought my first Mercedes.
I have purchased 2008 facelift CLS63 AMG. I was initially going with either a late "55" or early "63", after a few lame finds I kept raising the budget and the rest is history.
I love the car, its fast, solid, smooth and comfortable, especially coming from a GTR it feels like riding on air. All round great car & what a sound!
Had it since Saturday and dropped it off today, to get windows tinted, Lowering links, alloys powder coated black, front grill black and some detailing.

Thanks Guys,
And to Zod:
The GTR was a amazing car but very costly in terms of service and parts.
I also wanted to change to a car that is more comfortable and spacious as well as saving money on value and running costs. On top of the costs mentioned GTR's are still dropping in value quite fast where as the CLS's dropped hard already and have slowed considerably.
The "63" seemed to be and is the perfect choice for what I wanted. Great as a daily car too.
