Hello everyone,
I'm looking to buy a CLS55 AMG IWC, if you know of one in US for sale please PM me the details or post the info here on the forum.
I missed out on the one for sale in Indianapolis and the one for sale north of LA.
I know there is one for sale at Mercedes Benz dealer in Eugene OR but they are asking $51K for it!
There is another one for sale at Euro Classics in CA but that is a very unique car that is out of my league ( 1 of 3 factory built DTM spec with only 1700Km ).

Man! Talk about trying to locate the rarest of the rare! I was in your shoes a few years back. I was trying to find an IWC edition CLS55 but at the time, I couldn't find one. It's such a rare edition. To this day, it's my favorite CLS55 to date. Good luck on your search!

IWC?!...Isn't that a swiss watch company that has some association with AMG inspired products?

In cooperation with the Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen, Mercedes-AMG has developed an exclusive model known as the CLS 55 AMG “IWC Ingenieur”. Only 55 units of the unique four-door coupe will be produced. The car has a powerful AMG 5.5-litre supercharged V8 engine and boasts exclusive equipment details. The design of the newly designed AMG instrument cluster is based on the new “Ingenieur” watch family from IWC, which is making its world debut at the Geneva watch show in April 2005. The 55 units of the CLS 55 AMG “IWC Ingenieur” will each be customised at AMG in Affalterbach, Germany, and the first deliveries will be made in autumn 2005.

Yeah, very rare. I can't believe I miss two of them the same weekend. Still not as rare as the 2007 R63 AMG, only 33 of those beasts were built.
More than anything, I love the color combination of both exterior and interior. I'll be patient and not buy anything else but that. In the mean time I have my E55 to enjoy.

Very true on the R63. Even more rare. A year and a half ago I saw an IWC for sale and I was contemplating on selling my current CLS55 for it but he marked it up quite a bit in price. He didn't even have the IWC watch it came with anymore because he sold it. The watch thats included is one of the nice touches with this edition and it wasn't even part of the sale. =(

That is the one I missed from Indianapolis. It was a good price even with the fender bender on its Carfax.

This IWC CLS seems quite interesting. Can you tell me more about the "DTM spec 1 of 3?" That has me particularly intrigued.

MBUSA's R63 sales figure is 44 while AMG claims 30. (More than 44 unique VINs have been sold in the US but some may be Canadian models).

Wow they've got some really cool cars. Interesting that they're all Euro spec- I wonder how many arms and legs they want for that particular example. Did you inquire?

No, there's no reason to inquire! I feel that a car like that is over $150K. I will never pay that much for a car unless I win the lottery.

i wish you could get different colored seats in the IWC edition cars... I can't stand those seats... My favorite CLS to date was a Designo Graphite with Designo white interior. absolutely stunning. one was for sale in NY about a year ago when I was shopping for one, and it got sold the day before I found it. It had all possible options, Design, 030, Distronic, Parktronic, Keyless... etc... I think the owner is on the forum as well.

I have one and thinking about selling it. What's your price range? It's a 2006, with only 22k miles. No accident, no story, no mods, no dings and scratches..I also have the IWC watch only wearing once or twice.

There are 3 Designo graphite gray with porcelain leather interior for sale right now, they look great, I actually went and test drove the one here in ATL but I set my eyes on an IWC and I will stick with that.

I have an 06 CLS55 AMG IWC Edition for sale, it has just over 30k miles, loaded with everyhting including Sirius and Bluetooth and has a full bumper to pumper warranty thru Carmax till 125k miles and is in excellent condition, I'm looking for 55k for this excellent 55 AMG, the car is located in Silver Spring MD, USA.

Not sure where you are located, but Team One Motorcars has one for sale.

Designo Graphite on Porcelain with 23k. I was looking at it before pulling the trigger. I pulled the carfax if you are interested I believe I still have it. As for the dealer, I am not affiliated, but have purchased a car from them 3 years ago and had a very smooth transaction. I lived in MD and purchased a Range Rover from them. I now live minutes away from them.
