New owner of 07 CLS63 AMG
Hello all!!!
I've been a forum member since last summer when I purchased an '09 CL550 4MATIC. Beautiful vehicle, but not my style. I traded a 2yr old '10 DODGE Charger R/T Supercharged with many LOOK GOOD, SOUND GOOD, and GO FAST aftermarket upgrades.
I found an 07 CLS63 AMG and loved it. As you can assume by the title, the CL is gone and the CLS is now in my garage. Looking forward to doing a few upgrades.
1. Carbon fiber interior molding
2. Dynavin head unit
I like the stock wheels and enjoy the exhaust sound. My Charger was too loud.
Are there any issues you suggest I keep an eye on. I already have the check engine light without any loss of power and I'm researching it. Good thing is that it happened as I drove it with the sales rep and they will check it.

I'm upside down on the deal, but have better monthly payments. Went from 860 to 680 a month. The CLS was 44K (keep in kind I'm in Hawaii and the dealer mark up is outrageous) and with the CL loss it went up to 49K out the door. The dealership wanted a total of 55k out the door. As far as warranty, the manufacturers warranty is over, but expect to buy extended warranty from USAA. Please, don't bash me to bad. I lost a lot on my Charger trade in. Paid 30K for it and 22k on after market pieces. Needless to say, the trade value was horrible and I was not happy with the CL. The CLS suits my style better.

CLS550 AMG Pkg.
IMO go for the warranty, and make sure you get a comprehensive one that covers the AIRMATIC components. I opted for a 60km / 36mth aftermarket extended warranty and it paid for itself in 6 months, no jokes.

Great thanks. I stopped by the Mercedes Dealer to do some investigative work on the vehicle. It had all the services, maintenance, and repairs done at the local Mercedes dealer. at least there is a history report.
