CLS55 Rear suspension "CLUNKING" sound

Hey guys,

Ever since I got my CLS55 about 10 months ago, anytime I go over a bump, I get this very pronounced "CLUNK, CLUNK" sound.
I do not feel the rear suspension loose when I ride on flat surfaces, it just happens when I go OVER a bump, it makes my car feel like the rear axle were split in half...

Anybody have any experience with something like this?, if so, please advise so I can get it fixed, the dealer can't find the problem (shocker!).

Thanks in advance!

My CLS 63 does the same thing at slow speeds going over speed bumps. I haven't crawled under to check yet. I'll let you know if I find some soon.

usually this problem is caused due to worn out rear shocks not the air bags

Thanks Shardul, my mechanic told me it was a shock that was damaged
