Trouble bleeding intercooler
I've searched this for a couple days and finally replaced my Bosch pump with the Johnson CM30. After the install I located the two coolant lines for the SC and I saw that only one line has the bleeder nipple. With the car off, I removed the rubber cap (shot coolant across my garage) hooked up a hose and fed the other end into the coolant reservoir. My car was at normal operating temp since I had just returned home from driving for a little over an hour ( it should be noted that it's about 38 degrees F). I started the car and nothing flowed through the tube. I then squeezed the rubber portions of the SC lines and some fluid moved into the clear bleeder tube. After enough manual pumping I was able to fill the tubing and push some coolant into the tank, but there didn't seem to be any pump action. Is this due to the temp not being warm enough to activate the pump or is it a shot pump? I spliced into the original wiring (which I noticed was totally frayed just before the original connector). I don't have any electrical codes so, I'm assuming the connection is good. I figured that checking the connector with a meter would be fruitless if the problem is that it's not activating due to the temp. If anyone knows how I should proceed I would greatly appreciate any advice. Incidentally, I have been taking pretty solid runs without the SC cutting out as far as I can notice. I also have the Eurocharged tune in case that makes any difference. Thanks again.

Does anybody know if there is an additional fuse that is associated with the pump? Would like to confirm these are fine since I can't say that I'm hearing the pump when I turn the car off. Thanks again for the replies, they've been helpful.
