The paintjob of the housing was done by a quality paintshop in my area here in Norway. It was done in a Maserati grey colour and Mercedes Iridium Silver. Then the black stripes was painted on and the AMG vinyl logo was fitted between the stripes. The last touch was to spray everything with a matt clear coat.
The AMG logoes did I buy on ebay. They are produced to fit on the Mercedes CLS key

Actually, the silver one was much more throaty. This one doesn't sound nearly as good. It's got the Super Sprint Longtube headers, high flow cats and Lorinser Mufflers. The silver one had Kleemann shorty headers, NO cats and OEM mufflers.

A little less throaty might be good though, you don't want it to sound too muscle car like. I'm sure it sounds pretty good, I guess I'll have to wait and see!

What do you mean? Oh...sold it and made $10k? Well, as of now I've only got a deposit so it's officially still mine. Taking it to Kleemann next week for the PPI and then she's going down the road to the lucky new owner.

It's a labor of love man. I've figured out a way to drive badass cars for free essentially and usually make some money while doing it. Buy low, sell high:-)
