Can the steering wheel from 2009+ work in a 2006?

Can the steering wheel from 2009+ work in a 2006?
Anyone switch the four spoke steering wheel to the three spoke wheel. I'm considering getting a CLS55 but prefer the 2009+ three spoke steering wheel. I will upgrade to a aftermarket radio also. Thanks!
