'07 CLS63 feels WAY faster than my '07 E63...why??

'07 CLS63 feels WAY faster than my '07 E63...why??
Hello! So I tried to find the answer on my own, but cannot seem to figure out why the '07 CLS63 AMG that we are looking at buying (totally stock) feels SO MUCH FASTER than my '07 E63 AMG (also stock).
The CLS63 has the P02 Package and 030 Performance Package, and just feels blisteringly fast. The brakes also feel like they are much better than my E63. I know that the Performance Package has different tires, wheels, delimitation of top speed to 186 mph, Limited Slip Differential Lock, and a sport suspension, but it does not say anything about better brakes or more power. I thought I was nuts, but my wife drove the car today and she said the same thing. Any ideas? My E63 does not have the Performance Package, by the way.

I felt the same way after BACK to BACK with my SL55. CLS also had 030 and stock and just somehow felt top end faster. I was really surprised.
I wish had a chance to run them both together but owner wasnt really into it.

Nice NSX, by the way. I am on my third one, and plan to have it forever.
