255/35/20 fronts with 315/30/20 rears

2-long black magic marker stripes down the road in the rear view mirror.
I'm not really a fan of slammed cars on rubber bands anymore, I mean.. I like the look on other peoples cars but I don't want to own it, or drive it so I prefer to stick with a tiny bit more sidewall on 19 and 20 inch wheels if possible.
It's possible on an E55 and a CLS55, a little caution is required in regards to offset though. This car is lowered just a little bit, maybe a half inch to close up the fender gap but the ride height and ground clearance is about the same as stock.
Front tires are 255/35/20 on a 20x9 inch wheel with 25mm positive offset, rears are 315/30/20 (R888) on a 20x11 with 30mm positive offset.
The front tire rubs the plastic inner liner in front of the wheel only when turning close to full lock so I'll probably do some creative zip tying if I ever have to take the bumper off or the liners out, but it doesn't bother me really.. My E55 had the same size tire on it for a year and a half and it didn't wear the liner at all, just left marks on it where there'd be no dirt. If it rubbed at speed that'd be a concern that needed immediate attention.
The rears don't rub at all, I did use a heat gun on the rear lower part of the plastic slash guard while the wheels were off, but I'm not sure if it was necessary because there's a hand's worth of clearance there now. Those R888s run wiiiidddeeee, nearly 13" of tread measured once mounted!
Hey that means a lot from the wheel gigolo himself
Thanks Craig, and thank you for the deal and for a smooth professional transaction
