CLS 55 Price Check

So I am curious what I should expect to pay for a CLS 55 with 24,000 miles?
Carfax looks clean one owner, but really odd as there is no history of service.
Does that mean vehicle was taken to an independent shop? Kind of odd to me.

Thanks

CLS55 AMG
I personally wouldn't pay more than $40,000.

I agree 40 grand or so , it depends on service records . Oh no service records that extremely odd, I'd question that . Make sure a certified mechanic going over the car thoroughly

I was able to get service records from the VMI, but all work done by independent shop from new. Strange to me as I would take car for basic maintenance or warranty work to selling dealer. Original owner must have hated service dept and really liked independent shop.

As for options not a ton Keyless, 319 Bi-xenon, DVD Comand roughly 92k MSRP. I could probably get for 37k, but it has not been checked out so no clue on the mechanical status.

I can tell from VMI that Guide bushing leaks, Gasket Cylinder Head cover, Power Window front door, control unit gas engine, cover front and rear guide rail, software, battery and some 2008 campaign work was done. So there could be other issues lurking like suspension or transmission. Hard to really read all of it. Still odd to me that this stuff is not listed on carfax.

I just bought my '06 with 25k miles and was warned about oil creeping out since it's been sitting so much in the last 7 years and I'll actually drive it now. Anyone here have experience with this? All records check out and it had oil changes every year since inception.

Also, is it weird that it feels like just the front is moving up and down with the lift mode activated?

These are such beautiful cars.
