I have mercury extended warranty, bought it directly from an MB dealer about 2 days before my standard warranty expired. 6 additional years, total of 60k miles, cost me 3800. I'm at 43k now, so I have ample miles left. It has been amazing so far. Two visits to the dealer, once was a leaky fuel pump, replaced $0 cost, next was engine and transmission mounts failed, cost to me $0.
