Upgraded to AMG STEERING WHEEL WITH SUEDE INSERTS ALCANTARA OEM

Hey guys. I purchased an OEM Mercedes AMG steering wheel off of eBay (it has an MB part # on it, I can get it if needed..). I finally got around to installing it on my CLS55. Having a small issue with it, it seems like my airbag doesn't seat correctly on it, it's like the left side isn't lining up.

I've tried reseating it several times, no luck. It looks exactly identical to the OEM wheel I removed, not sure what's up! Any ideas?

View looking down:

Looking at the wheel straight on, notice on the right side to the right of the buttons there is a small gap, and on the left side there isn't

Any thoughts?

Do all the buttons work? Maybe it needs the older style airbag?
