This is probably a shot in the dark. Am wanting the chrome window trim and various pieces on my CLS55 to be satin black. Of course, the body shops discourage painting chrome for obvious reasons…it won't last! Was wondering if the chrome could be acid dipped to etch it for painting, but i don't know if there is plastic, etc. incorporated in this trim. Is it possible that MB made this trim in black? Any suggestions?
