Carchex warranty
Looking at several 2007-2008 CLS63s with less than 50,000mi.
Talked to Carchex about warranty options and here are the rough price points they quoted:
2yr/20k: $3,600
3yr/30k: $4000
4yr/48k: $5,800
5yr/50k: $6,000
This is for their Titanium coverage w/$100 deduct, which basically covers everything except for the typical consumable parts (pads, tires, etc.) as well as belts, hoses, mufflers, alignments, etc. It's a long list, but all the major big ticket items (engine components, tranny, suspension, electrical, etc.) are covered. Repairs are allowed at MB shops or indys.
Is this consistent with what others have seen for pricing similar warranties? Anyone have any thoughts on if there are better options out there for the CLS?
Given my ownership history and low mileage driving, the 3yr option is the best bang for the buck. Just not sure if this pricing is high/low compared to others in the market. Any thoughts are appreciated!
