Hi !

I just bought a 2005 CLS 55 AMG with the NTG1 Comand.

I got the 5+3+7 to get the AMG logo at start.

But I would like to get the Dr.Dist (DVD in motion) to work !!!!

I live in sweden, and the car is an import from Germany ! So it is the EURO version ! (Confirmed when I changed the logo at startup to AMG "ECE")

I have searched everywhere but have not found the right "trick"

This does NOT work to get into engineering mode:
Mute + Phone down + Serv (Does not work in any order)

For me to get into the engineering mode I have to push in this order:
Serv - System - Lang.
Then press and hold:
Phone down + Upper left arrow + Audio

I have tried the following without sucess to get the "Secret menu" to be visable, both with the 1+3+8 then back. And without:

1+3+9
1+3+7
1+3+6
*+#+left arrow
1+3+left arrow
1+4+7
1+4+8

Any Ideas ??

Hi there bud! I have an '05 Cls55 as well.. I have searched for months on this topic to also active the DIM. function, with the engineering menu. Unfortunately from what I have gathered our software/firmware has been upgraded from mercedes with a newer version over the years which changed the way of getting into the engineering menu(secret menu) which is why all the combinations you are trying is not working.. I have given up on this. My friend has an 2004 E55 same system as us and his unit does get the engineering mode.. So I think the older units can do it but not ours... I think the only way to activate it is through STAR network.

Okey, that's to bad for us then But thanks for the info Now I will search for someone in my country who can fix this with the STAR program then !
