Yes you can change just the bulbs. Had this happen a week after i bought mine, bought an entirely new panel and realized only to late after it was ordered that the bulbs can be replaced. Follow Frenchies removal of the tail light and it shouldnt take more than 20 min a side.

Hello, my tail light is out on my 2008 Mercedes CLS63. The turn signal and brake light works but not the tail light. Can you tell me the type of bulb needed to replace a burnt out tail light on this car??

Hello, i have a 2008 Mercedes CLS63. The tail light is out. The brake light and the turn signal work but not the tail light. I saw on a old post that you may have replaced the tail light bulb in your vehicle. If so, can you tell me the type of bulb did you use and did it fix the problem?? Thanks.
