Who will handle parts for the fuel pump/filter/sending unit gas smell from Germany?
SubscribeSo far my CLS55 AMG has spent more time at Gainesville MB than in my garage. This fuel smell/leaking pump/filter/sending unit defect extended warranty repair is turning into a waiting game. Curious how many hands those parts from Germany have to pass thru....
Dealer says parts are coming from Germany but doesn't know when they will arrive. Anyone getting that same fuel system warranty repair? I don't wait well without even a hint about when the wait will be over. Been a week now. They gave me a brand new C250 loaner, very nice, very practical, good woman's car. But not a one I'm panting to drive.
Anyone got a contact in the MB parts distribution system? Any inside dope? An insider in MB supply system from Europe? I'm gettin antsy...Popeye

I have found both the dealer instructions and the customer letters associated with this fuel smell problem with the E and CLS model Mercedes Benz. It contains the details of what will be done. Hope you that have this problem will find these documents useful...
