I did "extensive" search on this forum but im getting mixed info.
the driver's side fog on my 2006 cls55 amg w/ bi-xenon active headlamps cracked (common issue) and i'm trying to replace the fog housing however,
1. Per vin #, dealer says it's part # 2518200756 but that takes h11 bulb. when asked dealer guy about bulb type, he said he doesn't know.
but last month, when the fog bulb went out, i remember i had to buy a h7 bulb to replace it with.
All the round fogs i see online take h11 bulbs.. I need the one that takes h7 because I'm certain from experience + search on forums that my cls 55 amg takes h7 bulbs in fog.
Examples im looking at to purchase:

a generic search for that part number on ebay all reveals fogs that take h11 bulbs..

can someone please clarify what I'm missing? I DO NOT think I have the cornering lights feature. I plan on covering the new fogs pair with lamin x or 3m tape to avoid this in the future. and I do want to purchase the pair so they both match otherwise it looks ugly. Thank you for your time!

ugh! never mind.. for anyone dealing with this in the future, dealer gave me the wrong part number (had to do my own research online to figure out the round fog with h7 is part # 2308200556).
and cls55 amg is the one WITH sport package which has round fogs that take h7 bulbs.
just ordered mine off ebay for $71
