what a poor design causing water leaks!
Why on earth MB doesn't waterproof their cars properly????
So this started with me 2 months ago when my left headlight was out and got a message on the dash. the dealer fixed it (by replacing the entire light) under warranty, saying it was faulty.
Then the passenger door handle was out. Dealer also changed it under warranty saying it was rusted.
A couple of weeks ago, driver door handle went out!
And yesterday after I washed the car I got a message: (right headlight is faulty or there is an open circuit).
This morning the car battery was drained, the car wouldn't crank!! I had to jump it to start.
After analyzing the situation, I came to realize that after every use of "Touchless" washing stations, the water leaks inside the car components some how (due to pressurized water), and corrupt something!!!!
So either use the soft brush washing station and risk your paint getting scratched or use the touchless one and damage the car components. Or pay for hand wash detailing every week to get your car cleaned safely!!!
knowing that I have used the same washing station for the last 4 years with my other cars (Lexus Rx350 and Mazda 2) with no leaks or errors what so ever!
I know people had complained about poor design of door handles. but this is going beyond that!!!!
Had anyone experienced these issues? or my car is unique??
