New CLS63 to me...

Hey all just joined the club and bought a 2011 CLS63.

So far day 2 I have to say I LOVE it!

Couple items I knew going in that need fixed but I think they are pretty easy.

The drivers door lock button on the outside handle is not working. All the rest of the doors are fine. Could it just be the button?

The head liner on the sunroof cover is falling down. Is this pretty easy to pull out and re-glue back on?

I am thinking about some performance mods in the future... Who has the most cost effective for best HP gains?

Thanks,
Mike.

I think you're in the wrong forum, but welcome to the club Mike!

I was wondering that as well. The forum shows 2011 and newer on this one and 2006-2010 on the other...

Welcome Mike and congrats on your new purchase.
the door button will most likely turn out to be the micro chip is rusty and the door handle needs to be replaced. its a common issue with our cars (W219). If you have an MB extended warranty (I hope), it would be free to replace the handle and paint it matching your car. I have changed 3 of them in my car!

I haven't done any tuning on my car yet, but they say EC and Wistec are the best. Keep in mind that a tune will always affect something in your car, mostly the weakest item.

Good luck and enjoy the beast!

That's a W219. Great car and congrats. I moved you to the correct forum.

Enjoy!
