I'm trying to fix my keyless go and I suspect broken wires. I can't get this big yellow plastic thing out because it hits on the left side. Can any body tell me how it comes out?

If you are trying to move the big greenish/yellow rectangle with the shifter in the center it comes out as a unit and you have to disconnect the center shifter from the transmission from under the car. Did you think about jumpering the two small holes on the top of the shifter? If you haven't try that first. They are the connectors for the keyless start and from experience it's not the wiring that goes bad it's the button on the top of the shifter that dies. Good Luck.
Thanks, so it will squeeze out if I disconnect it from the tranney?
I tested the button with an Ohm meter and it looked good. Hadn't thought of jumping the holes though.
