Fuel tank replaced today
Filled her up a few days ago and had the scent of gas when inside the garage. My drivers side fuel sender was replaced a couple years ago, but it was leaking again so now they change out the entire tank which comes with new senders and everything. Mercedes has extended this to a 15 year warranty so it was completely covered. My dealer was able to locate a tank located at another dealer so it was all done in 2 days!

Just had same thing done. Nice that the dealership routed the emergency brake line outside of the heat shield during repair. It took me a while to find out where the grinding noise was coming from. It was my emergency brake line getting eaten by my drive shaft!
Also, while they were working on my car they found a problem with the ABS Hydraulic Unit and replaced that for free. During that repair they didn't re-attach the cabin air filter casing!
Literally, I feel like they had some rookie working on my car.
